About BFRadar
BFRadar (BlackFridayRadar) gathers Black Friday and Cyber Monday VPS and hosting deals from LowEndTalk, LowEndSpirit, LowEndBox, NodeSeek and other communities in one place, with plan specs, original prices, CNY estimates and coupon codes, so you can compare them side by side. We only cover VPS, dedicated servers, web hosting and storage; email, domains, colocation and the like are left out. We don't sell hosting, and providers don't pay us.
Where the data comes from
- LowEndTalk, LowEndSpirit, LowEndBox: offer threads posted by providers.
- NodeSeek: offer threads, plus trading, review and Q&A threads.
- Reddit r/VPS and r/webhosting: community threads.
Every deal links back to its original post, and we quote at most 300 characters of it. Community threads are kept as titles and links only, attached to providers through their aliases.
Our crawler identifies itself with the User-Agent Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; BFRadar/0.1; +http://127.0.0.1:8000) and follows each site's robots.txt.
How often it updates
| Source | Normally | Black Friday week (11-24 to 12-01) |
|---|---|---|
| LET | Hourly | Every 30 minutes |
| LES | Hourly | Hourly |
| LEB | Hourly | Hourly |
| NodeSeek | Every 5 minutes | Every 3 minutes |
| Hourly | Hourly |
- New posts are listed first with rule-based extraction; then an LLM translates titles, writes summaries and checks the fields. Prices and codes from the LLM are used only if they appear in the original post.
- Exchange rates update daily at 01:00 UTC from European Central Bank reference rates, with open.er-api as the fallback.
What the three ranges mean
- Black Friday & Cyber Monday
- Deals posted this season (since 2026-10-01) and identified as Black Friday or Cyber Monday offers. The home page shows this range by default.
- This season
- All deals posted this season, including Halloween, Singles' Day and other events, and year-round plans.
- All time
- No date limit, including year-round threads from past seasons.
How prices are calculated
The start price is the price and billing period as written in the original post, for example $10/yr or €3/mo.
“≈ ¥N/yr” converts it to a yearly price in CNY at that day's exchange rate: monthly × 12, quarterly × 4, semi-annual × 2, biennial ÷ 2, triennial ÷ 3, hourly × 8760. One-time payments and unclear billing periods aren't converted.
It's only an estimate, without taxes or payment fees; the provider's checkout is what counts.
Disclaimer
- Prices and terms are as stated by each provider, who may change prices or pull offers at any time.
- We only aggregate public information. Nothing here is purchase advice, and we aren't responsible for any provider's service or support.
- Fields are extracted automatically and can be wrong. Where they differ from the original post, the post is right.
